Instagram opens its “quiet likes” feature in US next week

Previously, Instagram, a well-known graphic social platform, has tested the “quietly like” feature in Canada, Ireland, Japan, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. But at today’s WIRED25 conference, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri has revealed that he will soon be pushing the test to Instagram users in the U.S. next week.

Based on earlier test results, Instagram users will be able to hide “quietly like” content in public posts on the stream, web and profile pages, but the sender will still see how many likes there are.
