Citingmedia, MacRumors reported that several new iMessage features may be being tested inside Apple. This new feature, like Slack’s, can be used in text messages with other contacts, such as @Joe or @Jane. When you type the sign, a suggested contact list is displayed.

This is useful in group chats that compare water, and you can choose to accept only “mention to you” message notification push in subsequent Hide Remindersettings settings.

Apple is also testing the ability to recall iMessage. Both the sender and the recipient can see that the information indicates that the message has been withdrawn, but it is not clear how long the recall time will be.

Other features in development include typing indicators in group chats, as in the current single iMessage chat, the ability to tag unread information addresses after they are opened, and the extension of the /me command for sharing status updates.
