As with previous patch Tuesday event days, KB4540673 is automatically installed on Windows 10 Version 1909, Version 1903 feature updates, and after installation the version numbers are raised to Build 18363.719 and Build 18362.719, respectively.

Windows 10 Build 18363.719 and 18362.719 are focused only on security fixes and improvements, but the patch is exclusively for enterprise users and does not provide BUG fixes for ordinary users. However, it is still recommended that consumers install the patch to ensure security and general improvements.

Microsoft says the update fixes an issue where Windows 10 systems cannot download and install monthly updates due to damage to third-party programs. The patch may eventually resolve various Windows Update installation issues and errors, but we need to keep watching over the next few weeks.

This update also includes Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Windows, Windows Peripherals, Windows Media, Windows Silicon Pla Tform, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Server, Windows Fundamentals, and Windows Update Stack have secured.

Microsoft says there is a known issue with the update, some of which May Not Which, may not be able to run in the Windows Server container.
