Among them, eVito’s target customers are companies or owners who need zero-emission electric passenger cars, which will be equipped with high-torque electric motors with a range of up to 421 km per charge. The standard Vito uses an “efficient and powerful” four-cylinder diesel engine from the OM 654 engine family. The modified 2020 electric version has output power of up to 201 horsepower and the standard diesel version up to 236 horsepower.

Regardless of the model, thanks to the active braking aid and MB’s Distronic system, they are equipped with Airmatic air suspension and better safety. Improvements to the rear camera make reversing easier, while also providing a digital mirror. The new car also comes with a new infotainment system for drivers to have an entertainment experience on the go.

It is understood that eVito can use both a home AC charger and a public AC charger to charge. Mercedes says a charger using a fast charging station can charge up from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in less than 45 minutes.

The new van will offer two different length options – the 202-inch-long base version and the 211-inch extended version. In addition, consumers can choose to have a pair of bench seats or face-to-face seats for this model.
