On November 9th, on Twitter a netizen showed a picture of MediaTek 5G SOC, and its biggest highlight was the integrated 5G baseband M70. MediaTek is about to launch an SOC with an integrated 5G baseband, modeled as MT6885. MediaTek MT6885 is reported to have integrated M70.
Previously, MediaTek announced the new 5G mobile platform at the COMPUTEX 2019 show, which should be the upcoming MT6885.
It is reported that the 5G mobile platform is based on the 7nm process, is the world’s first using ARM’s latest and fastest Cortex A77 CPU and Mali-G77 GPU smartphone chip. M70 5G modem with 4.7Gbps download speeds and 2.5 Gbps upload speeds, and support s 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G connectivity, and dynamic power distribution.
MediaTek’s 5G mobile platform is power-efficient, and the design is designed to achieve higher transmission rates at lower power consumption, creating a comprehensive ultra-high-speed 5G solution for end-line phone manufacturers, officials said.
In addition, it features a new AI architecture with a new stand-alone AI processing unit, APU, to support more advanced AI applications. Includes image processing technology to eliminate image blurring, allowing users to take stunning photos even when shooting objects move quickly.
