Samsung gaming streaming service PlayGalaxy Link will close on March 27

Late last year, Samsung unveiled its own gaming streaming service, PlayGalaxy Link. But unlike Google’s Stadia and Microsoft’s Project xCloud, Samsung’s PlayGalaxy Link is not a cloud gaming platform, but allows players to seamlessly connect the progress of games on the PC and mobile side.

In December, Samsung updated its Play Galaxy beta app to support more devices, including the Galaxy Fold, S9, Note9 and A90. Today, Samsung announced that it will stop its PlayGalaxy Link service in March 2020 due to internal policy changes.
