On March 17thmedia reported that filming of the Avatar sequel in New Zealand had been halted by a new crown outbreak and it was not yet clear when it would resume work. Producer Jon Landau said the sequel was due to be filmed in April. Although filming is not possible, the film’s management will stay in Los Angeles to continue working, and later special effects will continue to be worked.
Landau says the global crisis is facing, not just the film industry, where everyone needs to do everything they can to mitigate the outbreak.
“Avatar 2” was released in North America on December 17, 2021, and “Avatar 3” on December 22, 2023. There are four or five at the back.
