The Windows 10 November 2019 feature update Chinese feature manager has made significant improvements, especially with the introduction of the File Preview UI that greatly enhances the search experience. Unfortunately, various issues arose in subsequent updates, including disabling the right-click menu, removing the delete recent search option, and losing a response when using the search.
In late January this year, Microsoft released a cumulative update of Windows 10 KB4532695, finally fixed most of the problems in the file manager search bar, right-click menu options can also be used normally, but the search bar still has a lot of minor problems, need further improvement.
Fortunately, these glouts are properly addressed in windows 10 Version 2004 feature updates. Not only did you fix these issues in the newly released preview, but you also made some performance improvements to the file manager’s search bar.
In the latest preview of Windows 10 Version 2004, Microsoft reverted to the option to “delete previous search history.” To delete search results, users simply right-click the text they’ve already searched for, and then select Delete. Microsoft is currently conducting A/B testing, and another way to erase the search history is to click on the “X” icon to the right of the searched text.
