3rd generation Galaxy Buds patent image exposure: Long rod sturdy to improve call quality

A third-generation Galaxy Buds wireless headset is being suggested, according to a Samsung patent recently approved from South Korea’s Intellectual Property Office. From the patentillustration, you can see that the headset has a rod-shaped design that allows the microphone to move closer to the mouth, improving the quality of the call. The recently launched Galaxy Buds Plus and the first-generation Galaxy Buds both feature a pea pod-shaped design, but after the launch there has been constant user feedback about the problem of poor calls, and the rod-shaped design can alleviate the problem.

As you can see from the patentillustration, the main body of the new headset is very similar to the Galaxy Buds. We can see that we have a triangular surface area that should be touch sensitive to answer calls, play/pause music, activate voice assistants, and so on. There is also a gap on the surface, suggesting that the headset has active noise reduction.
