US police warn against getting caught up in new coronary pneumonia vaccine scam

Some countries are working on a vaccine that could stop new coronary pneumonia, according tomedia reports, but the premise is that the virus will not mutate until the vaccine is ready. But most researchers estimate that the vaccine won’t be available until at least next year, because no matter how severe the current outbreak, the new drugs will face the same regulatory hurdles as other types of vaccines.

在向公众提供疫苗之前,疫苗需要接受试验和研究以证明疫苗的有效性和安全性。也就是说当有人打电话来告诉你目前有可以使用的新冠疫苗了那么请立即终止这场谈话。

Police from the Daly City Police Department and the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department in Ohio posted warnings about the new scam on social media:

Apparently, the person making the call was trying to trick the person who answered the phone’s credit card or social security number. As a rule of thumb, someone who answers the phone when they ask for these details on the phone should immediately hang up, and disclosing the information to a fraudster can be costly.
