Paramount has announced that it will speed up the digital release of Sonic The Hedgehog, according tomedia reports. It was learned that the film will go on sale on March 31st, after its success in theaters made it the highest-grossing video game movie in U.S. box office history. Digital movie sellers such as Apple have adjusted the list of sonik movies to show that they will speed up their live release.
It is reported that the standard version of the film sold for $19.99.
Other studios have taken similar steps. Among them, Universal Pictures offered a 48-hour rental of “Invisible Man,” “Hunt,” “Emma” and “Wonder Woman: A Journey to the World.” Disney announced today that Pixar’s latest animated film, “The Magic of 1/2,” will open digital sales tonight and is scheduled to launch on Disney Plus on April 3. Digital versions of Warner Bros.’s Ben Affleck’s “The Road back” and Van Diesel’s “Blood warrior” will also be released early.
