Toilet paper in some shops and online retail stores has been snapped up, with panic buying in some areas, media CNET reported. And one might wonder how long their toilet paper stock will last. Fortunately, someone has developed an online toilet paper calculator, How Much Toilet Paper?!, to help people assess the duration of inventory. Simply enter the number of toilet paper rolls left each day and estimate the number of times you need to go to the toilet each day, and you can determine the duration of the toilet paper stock during the new coronavirus pandemic.
The calculator was created by Ben Sassoon, a London-based bioware developer, and Sam Harris, an artist, who discussed how much toilet paper they use each day and how they will change during the pandemic. More than 2 million people now use it and are helping to reduce the world’s shortage of toilet paper.
To help people more accurately determine how long inventory in their home will last, the site also offers advanced options – for example, you can show the average amount of toilet paper used each time you go to the toilet, the amount of toilet paper used each wipe, the number of toilet paper per roll, the number of family members and the number of days of isolation.
However, not everywhere is worried about the shortage of toilet paper. Mark Rutte, the Dutch prime minister, said on Thursday that people in the Netherlands did not have to worry about running out of toilet paper. “In the next 10 years, there will be enough (toilet paper) supply across the country,” Rutte said.
