The International Baccalaureate Organization announced the cancellation of the exams from 30 April to 22 May

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) announced that it would cancel exams scheduled for April 30 to May 22 because of the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic,media reported. In a letter to schools and examiners, the group said the decision was “the most responsible and ethical way forward” in consultation with international stakeholders.

In addition to the cancellation of the examination, the International Baccalaureate Organization will also issue diplomas or course certificates to eligible students on the basis of them.

It is reported that the cancellation of the exam will affect more than 200,000 students worldwide to participate in these IB programs.
