Four years later, microsoft cut the Surface Mini project early, and four years later, the company launched a better-value-for-money Surface Go product line. Windows-based mobile device solutions are clearly more compelling than Apple’s iPad Pro. Unfortunately, after waiting two years, the configuration upgrade of the next-generation Surface Go may disappoint fans.
Despite the general configuration, Surface Go combines portability as a daily-use Windows device (desktop PC companion) to provide quick access to Windows for people on the go.
However, recent leaks have suggested that the Surface Go 2 will use an Intel Core m3-8100Y processor. Even if it’s a boost from the pentium Gold 4415Y of its first model, it doesn’t impress us.
For storage, Surface Go 2 or a combination of 8GB of RAM plus 256GB SSD. From the product positioning point of view, other aspects of the upgrade is not very likely.
