Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a busy man who is donating ventilators and distributing N95 masks to hospitals in California, according tomedia reports. But at the same time, he’s no doubt a dreamer, and he’s just shared his thoughts on a beautiful smart HVAC system.
The Tesla and SpaceX boss has in the past expressed support for some kind of smart HVAC system, but in several tweets Monday, Musk’s tone was more serious than ever. The tweets stem from a new heating pump for Tesla Model Y, which is known to make the car’s owners feel more comfortable without sacrificing mileage, though the CEO says he prefers to use HVAC, which is quiet and efficient with humidity control and HEPA filters.
The HEPA filter works by isolating every element in the air as much as possible, which would be a game-changer for those with severe allergies. At the same time, the device will become a more common household appliance. Musk talked about installing the technology throughout the HVAC system at home to keep the air clean.
