Here’s a clip from Star Trek: Voyager, season 6, episode 4, “Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy.”

Richard used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel AI to restore the video from a DVD source to 4K, and the plot above used the software for three full rounds. It was a time-consuming and expensive process, and Richard claims it took about six hours to complete the work from start to finish.

As mentioned earlier, Richard has fixed five episodes so far. But Richard intends to keep the cost of upgrading from the current trial gigapixel and release more episodes later.
