Jon Prosser, a well-known foreign whistleblower, tweeted on March 31st local time that Apple was scheduled to release the iPhone 9 on April 15 and start shipping on April 22,media reported. Mr Prosser said Apple held an internal briefing on March 30 to decide on a “tentative” release and delivery date for its iPhone 9. However, these dates are likely to change as they are currently in the midst of an outbreak of the new coronavirus.

Apple is said to have announced its decision to release the iPhone 9 on April 15. The device can be booked on the same day, and the first iPhone 9 will be shipped on April 22.
Mr Prosser added on Twitter: “To help with this launch, Apple will send iMacs to retail employees who are asked to work remotely over the next two weeks.” These employees will receive special training to provide customers with online sales and technical support. “
The information that Proser has published in the past has always been very accurate. In October 2019, just days before the official launch of Apple’s latest wireless headset, the AirPods Pro, he released details of the media event. Prosser also warned that the iPhone 12 would be delayed and that Apple was developing a new AirPower charging pad.
In addition to Prosser, another source leaked photos of iPhone 9 accessories distributed to Best Buy stores. Best Buy stores have reportedly been told the product will not be available until April 5.
The release and production of the iPhone 9 have been affected by an outbreak of the new coronavirus, which Apple had planned for a major launch in March, which had to be cancelled. However, Prosser’s revelations are in line with other recent reports that the iPhone 9 is in final production. This is in line with the previous statement by guo Mingyu, a well-known Apple analyst, that the phone will be available in the first half of 2020.
Most rumors suggest that the iPhone 9 will use roughly the same external hardware as the iPhone 8 in an effort to keep costs low. It may feature a 4.7-inch Retina screen, Touch ID, and a glass backpanel for wireless charging. However, the interior of the budget device could be very different, with Apple using many of the latest technologies, including the same A13 bionic chip used in the iPhone 11 series.
Mr Guo had predicted that the iPhone 9 would be equipped with an A13 chip and 3GB of RAM, as well as up to 128GB of storage. He also expects the iPhone 9 to sell for around $399 in the U.S., making it the cheapest iPhone.
Rumours are that the iPhone 9 will be the successor to the iPhone SE, leading many to speculate that it could also be called the iPhone SE 2. It targets certain fruit powders that are still using older iPhones, such as the iPhone SE and iPhone 6 users.
