Recently, German media Windows United brought a high-definition rendering of the Galaxy Fold 2, with a punching design on the inside screen, and an Infinity-V drop of water on the outside screen, and support for a S Pen stylus. Today Dutch technology company LetsGoDigital and designer Jermaine Smit bring sharper rendering of the machine.
Jermaine Smit’s YouTube channel, Concept Creator, is very popular, and he usually makes a very engaging concept video based on the rumors, spy photos and renderings that he currently has. In making the video, Smit also specifically contacted jerry Rig Everything, a well-known digital channel, to ask for details about Galaxy Fold.
Based on previously disclosed information, the second-generation Galaxy Fold may be available with the Galaxy Note 20 series, so it may be named after names such as Galaxy Note, Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold, etc. However, the internal code is confirmed as “Winner 2”. The Galaxy Fold’s internal code name is “Winner” and is therefore confirmed as a successor.
In terms of the price tag, the second-generation Galaxy Fold should be more than 2,000 euros. Samsung’s own Exynos 990 or SnapSnapdragon 865 processors will be used in specifications. Comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage memory, even increasing to 16GB on memory.
The Galaxy Fold is equipped with a 4.6-inch front screen and a 7.3-inch collapsible screen, although the second generation may increase the inside screen to 7.7 inches. And the Galaxy Z Flip’s UTG technology is also expected to be used in the second generation of Fold.
Despite speculation that the Galaxy Hand Note might use an off-screen front-facing camera, media say the technology is not yet mature. Even the foldable device sits not equipped with an off-screen fingerprint sensor, so it’s more likely to be equipped with an off-screen camera first.
The second-generation Galaxy Fold offers a great photo experience, and the rear camera system seems to be the same as we saw on the Galaxy S20 Plus, with four lenses and a ToF sensor.
