SpaceX has tested positive for six more employees, following the first reported cases of new coronavirus last month,media reported. An employee who was recently confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus is reportedly self-isolated. At least 12 employees at SpaceX’s Southern California plant were reportedly quarantined in March after a worker and a doctor at its Southern California plant were found to be infected with the new coronavirus.
While SpaceX has reduced the number of employees working on its plant sites, the U.S. Department of Defense believes That SpaceX’s work is an essential task for other space operations. This means that the company can remain open and operational.
