According to foreign media reports, the recent, Volkswagen announced that the end of the year will enter the major dealers of the 2020 Passat price. The new Passat S started at $25,295 and is now down to $22,995. It is reported that this model comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, running lights with dayleading LEDs, leather seats, 6.3-inch touch screen infotainment and blind spot monitoring.
Then there’s the 2020 Passat SE, which will start at $25,845. It supports keyless entry, button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather trim with heated front seat, partition independent temperature control and rain-sensitive wipers. In addition, the car will be equipped with an updated automotive network system, a pair of additional USB ports, and adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistance. An additional $995 is required if you want a skylight.
The 2020 Passat R-Line starts at $28,645, and unlike the SE, the sunroof comes with an additional 19-inch wheels. As an R-Line model, the car features a special R-Line front bumper with spoiler and rear diffuser, with ambient lights and shifting on the steering wheel.
Finally, the 2020 Passat SEL, which starts at $31,095, features 18-inch wheels with advanced headlight lighting and high beam assist, while the car features leather Comfort seats, cab seats and mirrors for memory, and rear seats with heating. Discover Media’s infotainment system, 6.3-inch touch screen and navigation system are standard features of the car, as well as support for the Fender Premium audio system. Parking steering assistant and parking distance control will also be standard.
Either version, the 2020 Passat will be equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI engine that delivers 174 horsepower and 206 pound-feet of torque. In addition, both the front drive and the six-speed automatic transmission are standard.
