HP today unveiled its new OMEN gaming desktop, available in 25L and 30L sizes, which offer next-generation top specs, including Intel’s Comet Lake S or AMD’s Ryzen 3000 processor. For Intel, the highest optional Core i9-10900K processor is the highest optional Ryzen 9 3900 processor for AMD and the highest for graphics cards with nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics.
The new OMEN gaming desktop offers up to 64GB of HyperX FURY DDR4-3200MHz XMP memory, WD_Black SSD with 3430Mbps/3000Mbps, up to 2TB capacity, and cooler Master power. HP has also increased the foot height of the PC to 15mm to increase heat dissipation, and on the 30L model, it has added a front-end compartment for the Cooler Master 120mm RGB fan.
In addition, the graphics card has been moved to a higher position, improving thermal efficiency. The company also said the new OMEN is the most customizable gaming computer ever made. In addition to a range of configuration options, OMEN desktops are designed to provide tool-free access to their interiors, making it easy to replace and upgrade parts. Like last year’s OMEN obelisk, it also has a glass panel so that users can see the interior of the PC and the six-zone RGB lights.
However, there is also a 25L model with a metal side panel, and the new OMEN desktop will go on sale at Hp.com tomorrow, starting at $899.99 for the 25L model and $1,199.99 for the 30L model. In addition, HP has unveiled the OMEN 27i display, which features the Nano IPS panel, which has 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It has 350 nits brightness, QHD resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time. The display, which is available today at Bestbuy.com for $499.99, will go on sale on HP.com on May 22.
