Today, HP unveiled three new Chrome books for businesses. At the top of the line-up, the Elite c1030 Chromebook Enterprise Edition, the first Elite 1000 series of Chromebooks, features a 2-in-1 deformed design with a stylus, so users can draw or take notes when they use it as a tablet. It also comes with HP’s Sure View privacy screen, which means no one else can spy on the content on the screen from close range.
The Elite c1030 Chromebook Enterprise features a 13.5-inch 3:2 FHD display with a screen share of 90.5%. The Elite c1030 Chromebook features an Intel 10th generation “Comet Lake” processor with up to 16GB of memory and optional 4G LTE. Next up is the Pro c640 Chromebook Enterprise, which features a Comet Lake processor and a 14-inch FHD screen with touch and non-touch options. It is MIL-STD-810G certified, which means it can withstand liquid spills.
HP’s Chromebook Enterprise 14 G6, released today, is an entry-level product with an Intel Celeron processor. It also passed the MIL-STD-810G test and has a 14-inch FHD screen. Elite c1030 will go on sale in August and Pro c640 will be available in June, but pricing for both products will be announced later. The Chromebook Enterprise 14 G6 is now available, starting at $399.
