Given that video conferencing has become a new normal during the COVID-19 pandemic, Elon Musk has also revealed that he is about to bring this update to Tesla owners. In response to a question from a Twitter user on Tuesday, the CEO said Tesla Electric will soon support video conferencing. While it’s not clear exactly which services (such as Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Google Meet, Skype, etc.) we’re looking forward to it.
The Model 3 may have found a built-in rear-view camera, but so far it hasn’t really worked. But in the future, it may provide a special way to connect.
Like most of Tesla’s networking features, it’s almost certain that car owners can only use the cloud video conferencing function while parking on the side. For example, when the overcharge d’or wed, you take part in a remote meeting.
Of course, the camera may have other uses, such as monitoring the driver for distractions when autopilot is turned on.
If all goes well, we may see Elon Musk gushing about THE OTA update on this feature on social media in the near future.
