Tesla ceo Elon Musk has said it will delay delivery of its new Roadster. Tesla said last month that it would change the delivery time for the first Semi models to 2021. Musk said the production of the Roadster would require a series of preparations for mass production of the Model Y, the start of production at the Berlin Superplant, the start of production at Tesla Semi, the start of Tesla Cybertruck and so on.
The new Roadster may not be available until 2022, the report said. In 2017, Musk announced that it would open in 2020 when he unveiled his new Roadster.
The new Roadster has been posted on china’s official website and has begun accepting reservations. Booking Roadster is to pay $332,000 by wire transfer, and booking Roadster’s founder version is $1.659 million by wire transfer.
According to Musk, the new Roadster will be the fastest car, with a 0 to 60-mile acceleration in just 1.9 seconds. 0 to 100 miles to accelerate for 4.2 seconds. The new Roadster can reach a top speed of 250 miles per hour. The range is up to 620 miles(998 kilometers).
