Yesterday XDA god Max Weinbach unveiled a new Samsung folding screen new machine, the Galaxy Fold e/Lite, and today it brings more news about the folding screen new machine. The Galaxy Fold Lite is upgraded to the SnapSnapdragon 865 processor, but does not support 5G networks and 256GB of storage.
The most noticeable thing about the appearance is that the exterior screen may be as small as the Galaxy Z Flip, in other words, if you want to use it properly, you can only turn on your phone.
The screen is made of plastic instead of Z Flip’s UTG glass, with an aluminum frame and a glass body, available in black and purple.
More importantly, Max says it will be cut directly from the Galaxy Fold to $1,099 (about $7,700), $300 cheaper than the Z Flip.
The first-generation Galaxy fold sold for 16,000 yuan, and even if the second-hand price is as high as 8,000 yuan, it’s a sky-high price for many people. I believe that this “low-cost” folding screen products will further expand the folding screen market, sales can be phased in.
