Earlier digital cameras might have captured awkward scenes (such as “pivot” light clothing) through filters, so manufacturers made improvements later. Unexpectedly, the OnePlus 8 Pro, which was released just weeks ago, also comes with an infrared-sensitive camera. Max Winebach of XDA-Developers points out that the problem has a lot to do with infrared filters.
If you can see through through the Nest home security camera, the OnePlus 8 Pro’s color filter can also be seen underneath through a lightweight mask, themedia adds.
Obviously, OnePlus deserves to know what happens when the infrared filter for the fourth camera is removed, and such a mistake should not have happened.
