Edge Canary for ARM64 released

Today, Microsoft Edge Dev’s official Twitter account announced that the Canary channel has released an Edge browser for the ARM platform. The Canary channel version is specifically built for ARM64 architecture devices, including the Surface Pro X, and will soon be available for Dev and Beta development channels.

Although the support of the original Edge browser can enrich the software ecology of the ARM64 architecture platform, there are still many problems due to the early development version. After hearing the news, tech editor Arif Bacchus tested it on his Surface Pro X, but when two Edge windows were opened at the same time, the right window would be unresponsive.
