Following last week’s release of the development roadmap and Feedback Snapshot for Insider members, Microsoft today released the “Alpha 3” version of Microsoft Flight Simulator again. The latest version introduces the Boeing 747-8i, and while there are a number of problems with the aircraft, the team says it is expected to be resolved in the coming weeks. These include minor problems in its flight management and guidance systems, display, graphics, and other systems.
This update also includes improvements to a number of aircraft, including the A320, TBM 930, G58, DA62, DR400, C152, C172, G1000 and Xcub. In addition to the routine improvements of the aircraft, the weather is also optimized.
The long-awaited SDK news update has finally been released, with Microsoft noting that it is currently in contact with more than 200 companies and that more than 400 developers are using the SDK. It is reported that the developer model has been improved based on feedback from third-party developers.
