Epic Games recently unveiled a new generation of Unreal 5 engines, with the PS5 for a practical demonstration, so what grade of graphics do you need on the PC to run smoothly? Kim Libreri, chief technology officer of Epic Games, said in an interview that the Unreal 5 Demo Demo could run on a PC powered by the GeForce RTX 2070 Super and worked well, according tomedia Tweaktown.
The RTX 2070 Super theory computes performance is 9TFlops (9 trillion floats per second), while the PS5 has a processor based on the AMD Zen-RDNA architecture of 10.28TFlops.
As for AMD graphics, it’s not yet up to the RTX 2070 Super class, and even the decommissioned Radeon VII is only a GTX 1080 Ti, with the RX 5700 XT slightly lower.
But Unreal 5 engine will not have a full version until the end of 2021, based on its game probably not mature until 2022, even for The Fortnite Unreal 5 version will have to wait until the middle of next year, AMD RDNA2 architecture of the next generation of graphics cards will be available this year, so there will be no running problems.
What’s more, the Unreal 5 engine is specifically optimized for the AMD RDNA2 architecture of Sony PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X, and is naturally more efficient.
