Apple is promoting children-friendly movies and programs on Apple TV with a new ad, according tomedia. The 30-second ad, called “The Next Generation,” features Ghost Writer, Helpsters and Snoopy in Space.
The video, posted to YouTube on Sunday, describes Apple TV’s video streaming service as “offering original series and movies to inspire the next generation of dreamers, explorers and believers.”
The short clip shows a variety of animations, reality shows and puppets in Apple’s children’s programs, which can be viewed through Apple TV Plus. The videos include Helpsters, Ghost Writer, Snoopy in Space, and Here We Are: Notes for Living On Planet Earth.
The Here We Are series landed on the service on April 17. Adapted from Oliver Jeffers’s best-selling book, the film, written by animation company Studio AKA, tells the story of a child who learns about the earth from his parents.
After a seven-day free trial, Apple TV Plus charges $4.99 a month for a year’s free use of an Apple device.
