Apple is updating a number of iOS apps: it’s likely to be linked to a recent bug

In the past few hours, some MacRumors readers have reported dozens or even hundreds of apps being updated in the App Store of their iOS devices, including recent updates from users,media reported. Apple doesn’t offer any reason for this, but some users suspect it may be related to the recent “This app is no longer shared with you” vulnerability.

It is reported that the vulnerability will prevent some users from starting certain programs unless they uninstall or remove before reinstalling.

This may be a problem with expired certificates or other related certificates shared with the app, and apples have to re-release these updates to make it possible for each affected app to have a valid certificate.
