On May 26th Daimler Ag-Dai announced a series of latest product plans and updates through the new broadcast platform Mercedes-Benz Online Live. Officials say the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class,codenamed W223 will be unveiled in September and officially delivered in November.
Built on the latest modular rear-wheel drive architecture (MRA), the new car features the latest family design language and a new open cockpit design, including a large display.
Referring to the previous exposure of the real car, the new S-class adopts the latest family design language, the headlights become the controversial “triangular eye” shape, the front of the net more rounded, the internal grille using three banner design, making the front face more recognizable.
The overall shape of the tail is full and simple, the triangular tail lights are very eye-catching, and Mercedes-Benz’s new CLS tail light shape is very similar, in addition to the new car using a bilateral total of two chrome exhaust.
The interior is one of the biggest changes to the new S-Class, with the new car removing the critically acclaimed “iPhone 17” Dalian screen design and replacing it with a Tesla-style split-screen, with the “big hole” in front of the LCD meter suspected to be HUD. The interior’s sense of luxury and design is a little less than that of the current model, and less than the stunning first look of the interior of the current model.

Officials say the new S-Class will offer standard wheelbases, long wheelbases and Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach versions.
