HP updates Elite Business PC lineup with AMD and Intel processors

Today, HP updated its Elite Business PC lineup with an Intel Comet Lake vPro CPU or AMD Ryzen PRO processor. The first is the EliteBook x360 1030 G7 and x360 1040 G7. The 1000 Series is HP’s leader in business PCs.

HP’s new EliteBook 1000 series, which will go on sale in July, will be one of the first 5G-enabled PCs to use the Qualcomm SnapDragon X55 chip to support connectivity of less than 6. They are 6.3 percent smaller than their predecessors, and have a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent, which HP calls the largest business notebook. The x360 1040 G7 features an Intel Comet Lake vPro processor, up to the six-core Core i7-10810U. In addition, the 1040 has a battery life of up to 29 hours.
