But there’s some good news for employers—- new study by Hibob found that people who work from home are just as productive as those who work in the office.
“A nationwide survey found that most employees work at home with the same efficiency and tools as they need to succeed in a typical work environment,” according to a nationwide survey. “The survey found that women and people who live with others are the most productive, ” the company said. The survey also showed that managers performed best, while individual team members struggled in remote work. “
According to Hibob, most employers are unlikely to fully recover from the office environment. The survey found that 37 percent of companies felt the same productivity, 13 percent felt more productive, and 18 percent felt less productive. “Forty-seven percent of singles say they’re not working well, ” says Hibob. People who live alone may feel isolated from friends, family, and peers, creating emotions associated with anxiety and depression that often affect efficiency — especially at work. However, 87% of people with children feel comfortable balancing work with family. This may be a good thing for working mothers. The survey also found that 61 per cent of senior managers were comfortable working from home, 12 per cent more likely than lower-level employees.
This is not the only study of such topics. Aternity, a digital experience management company, recently found that working remotely doesn’t help improve productivity.
