In August, Huawei officially launched its own Harmony OS, which supports the full range of Huawei’s smart ecology. In an interview with BI, Huawei’s senior vice president, Vincent Pang, said huawei would decide in the next six to nine months whether to move Hong Meng to smartphones because of U.S. restrictions on Google GMS for Android phones, foreign media reported.
Mr Bloomberg argues that we have missed a flagship and can no longer “sit back and wait”. This seems to mean that the Mate 30 series cannot pre-install GMS kits in overseas markets and require users to manually install Apk, which makes Huawei passive.
At present, the Hongmeng 1.0 system is being installed on Huawei and the glory of the smart screen, next year’s 2.0 system will expand the range of supported products, covering locomotives, smartwatches, smart Pcands and so on. The 3.0 system in 2021 will further optimize the IDE development environment and coordinate hardware and software.
