Google launches AR website Sodar: Clear 2m social security circle

In the social distance guidelines in place during the outbreak, it is recommended that the distance between people should be maintained above 2 meters. But not everyone has a clear concept for the distance, so Google has launched a website called Sodar that uses AR technology to give users a clear 2-meter social security perimeter.

Currently only available for Android Chrome, the site can be enabled after visiting sodar.withgoogle.com or goo.gle/sodar, once access is allowed, such as a camera. After activation, the site will provide a very clear arc, making it clear that the line is all within a 2 m range.

Augmented reality cameras move with you, and while the line is generally accurate (foreign media tested on the Pixel 4 XL), it may not be completely accurate. The 2-meter radius is actually about 1.8 meters.
