A few months ago, YouTube star and photographer Andrew Levitt embarked on a week-long road trip with two of his best friends, Jacob Phillips and Taylor Gray, to find the location of the default macOS wallpaper and take a picture of himself with macO S default wallpaper for the same photo. The video below tells the story of their filming.
Within weeks of sharing the video, Apple released macOS Catalina, and Levitt decided to continue their journey to the location of Catalina’s default wallpaper, catalina Island. But this time it’s a challenge, and to get there, Levitt and his friends need to first head to catalina island and then walk an eight-hour walk to the other side of the island.
The end result was a pretty good result, and they used drones to take the same photos as the macOS Catalina default wallpaper. On the way back, Levitt and his friends were stopped by police because it was forbidden to cross the island of Catalina on foot at night. Luckily, the police were friendly and just sent them back to the other side of the island, and here’s a video of the amazing experience.
