According to the Pixel Buds Support Forum, many Pixel Buds 2 wireless headset users have complained of connectivity issues. Some of these latest reports indicate that it has upgraded its firmware from 225 to version 295, and that smartphone users from different device manufacturers have reported problems. Judging from the number of reports compiled bymedia, this problem has existed since the beginning of publication, but unfortunately Google has not been able to completely fix it with a firmware update.
The Bluetooth performance of the Pixel Buds 2 has been highly questioned, with many users complaining that both headsets are disconnected for a few seconds in random conditions.
Other users complain that the Pixel Buds 2 may have an audio disconnect when the headset is blocked by hand, or when the user turns his head in a certain direction.
Even more depressingisingly, the problem seems to become more apparent as users move from indoors to the outside.
Android Police reports that some users are trying to temporarily resolve the issue by unpairing and reconnecting, but what is most lacking is a fix.
Earlier this month, Google announced that, like the Pixel smartphone, it will offer occasional feature updates and performance improvements to its Pixel Buds headset line.
If your true wireless headset has a serious performance degradation, you can also contact Google’s official support staff to replace the hardware.
