On June 2nd, Google’s Pixel Buds wireless headphones faced a number of complaints. Many users complained on Reddit and Google support that Pixel Buds had serious audio outages, with Pixel and Samsung mobile phone users the most affected, 9to5Google reported.
The report noted that pixel Buds could not solve the problem even if the firmware was updated. One Reddit user said Google offered a replacement service after the problem, but the new Pixel Buds suffered the same problem and Google was forced to get a full refund.
The Pixel Buds 2 is Google’s true wireless headset, launched in October 2019, for $179.99 (about 1,300 yuan), according to the data.
Pixel Buds 2 activates Google Assistant with “Hey Google,” which supports playing music, sending text, and other things that a virtual assistant can do. In practice, Google Assistant can respond quickly to voice commands.
Officially, the Pixel Buds 2 wireless headset has a range of up to five hours and a wireless charging case that can provide 19 hours of battery life, meaning the overall range of up to 24 hours, a parameter almost exactly the same as Apple’s AirPods.
