Targus, a well-known accessories company, recently announced a new keyboard case for Samsung to launch its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Launched in April, the tablet is targeting the mid-market, highlighting the handwriting doodle feature based on conventional tablet operations. Samsung didn’t provide it with an official cover after the launch, and now Samsung’s joint Targus offers new options.
On Monday, Targus announced the keyboard case, saying it was launched in partnership with Samsung and sold exclusively by Samsung. This full-size QWERTY keyboard offers two visual angles, a magnetic stand that supports magnetic securing the S Pen. The keyboard turns off automatically after 10 minutes to save battery life, while it also has a sleep/wake feature that turns the tablet on and off automatically when the phone case is turned on and off.
The keyboard can be connected to the tablet via Bluetooth 5.0 and can provide up to 100 hours of use when fully charged, and Targus says the battery can hold 120 days of charging in standby mode. The model is now available through Samsung for $99.99.
