Apple Music has canceled its Beats 1 radio show in support of the Black Out Tuesday campaign, and it has advised listeners to listen to a radio and streaming program celebrating black music, according tomedia reports. Black Out Tuesday is a campaign organized by the music industry to support the Black Lives Matter movement.
Earlier, George Floyd, a black Minneapolis resident, was suffocated to death by police during his arrest.
Today, when Apple Music users open the app, they will see a black Out Tuesday message in the Browse and Radio tabs, and at the end you can see the Listen Together button, which will be followed by the black music mentioned above.
The rest is business as usual, with users still able to access their own music library and Apple Music catalog.
