Today, Bob Swan, Intel’s CEO, was invited to participate in the Taipei Computer Show, and like many others, he works from home. In this “message”, he mentions the intriguing point of calling on the industry to take the opportunity to shift its attention away from the running points and focus on real-life performance and innovative technology. He stressed that the outbreak showed that technology must be purposeful in order to meet changing business and customer needs.
He suggests that the industry needs to be closely linked, forecasting demand and developing solutions.
In addition, Shribo revealed that the upcoming Tiger Lake processor (10nm plus) will cement Intel’s leadership in mobile computing and PC innovation.
However, combined with his view of running points, some analysts believe that Srebo is playing “preventive needle” in advance, Tiger Lake’s advantage by running points can not be reflected, as to who the object, I want to self-evident.
Earlier this year, Intel released a 10nm-plus Tiger Lake processor, which is expected to be available under the name 11Th Generation Core. The CPU portion of the Tiger Lake processor is the new architecture Willow Cove, with double-digit performance improvements (more than 10%), while the GPU core portion uses the new Xe architecture, which is the same as the DG1 discrete graphics card, for smoother gaming.
