Still alive? Ridley Scott: “Alien” has a lot of miles

Director Ridley Scott told Los Angeles Times film critic Justin Chang that he thought the “Alien” series would still work and imagined what to explore if the new Alien movie was made, according tomedia reports.

“I still feel like there’s a lot of miles in Alien, ” he said. When I was filming the first film, I always thought, ‘Why is such a creature created, why does it travel around with what I think is the war outfit – that is, with those eggs?’ What is the purpose of the carrier and what is the purpose of the egg? This is where questions are asked: who, why, for what purpose. I think this is the next idea. ‘”
