Media reported that Facebook is mulling improvements to dark mode and new corona virus tracking for Android clients. The former has been promoted on Facebook’s Lite, Messenger and Instagram for months, but Facebook’s main app has been slow to update. Here’s a screenshot of the dark mode in Facebook’s new Android client.
New features can be manually switched in the app or automatically transformed following the global settings of the Android 10 mobile operating system.
Screenshots visible dark mode is already very high, and the current UI has similar light and shadow effects to dark gray themes.
In addition to Dark Mode, Facebook is also developing a new corona virus local tracker for its Android client.
The image above shows simulationdata from the Seattle area, with trackers showing cases within three weeks and seven days of case data more broadly, and the number of confirmed cases worldwide at the top of the page.
In addition, the company is developing a new UI for the Time on Facebook feature, which is designed to help users retroactively spend a lot of time using the app each week to improve usage time management in the future.
The new interface will introduce a grid-based UI to better separate different parts, in addition to other functional changes. As for the new version of the launch time, it is not known at this time.
