Apple officially unveiled the 16-inch MacBook Pro the night before, and in addition to its larger screen, the new MacBook Pro features ultra-fast performance, maximum battery, the best laptop keyboard, great speakers and plenty of storage space. After two days of approval, the new MacBook Pro is finally available for purchase in the Apple Store, starting at 18,999RMB and the top version is priced at 46,421RMB, with shipments now delayed until next week.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro’s retina display has a resolution increased to 3072×1920, a pixel density of 226 ppi, a screen brightness of 500 nits, and support for P3 wide-color and primary color displays. In addition, its butterfly keyboard has been changed to a scissor keyboard, giving a longer key stroke and a more comfortable typing feel, as well as backlighting, and the Esc keys and TouchID are both separated from the same one-in-one design as in the past and TouchBar.
In terms of configuration, the 16-inch MacBook Pro has the highest optional 9th-generation 8-core Core processor, which is up to 5.0GHz, and officially says it’s 2.1 times faster than the 15-inch MacBook Pro with a quad-core processor. The 16-inch MacBook Pro is also the first to feature AMD Radeon RX 5500M graphics, manufactured using a 7 nm process that officially says is 1.5x more performance per watt and 20% more power per watt than the previous generation.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro features a new thermal structure and optimized heat pipes, with a 35 percent increase in the surface area of the radiator, a 28 percent increase in heat dissipation for larger impellers and more blades, and officials say the MacBook Pro’s maximum continuous power is up to 12W.
Also boosted are battery life and speaker sound, which, with the addition of a new 6-speaker sound system, delivers fuller stereo sleek sound at a limited body size.
