Xiaomi unveiled two Notebook 14-series notebooks in India on Thursday, with a lightweight design and a 14-inch FHD screen. Built-in Intel 10 Generation Comet Lake processor (integrated with Intel UHD Graphics) provides up to 8GB of LPDDR4 memory plus 512GB of solid-state storage with up to 10 hours of battery life and pre-installed Windows 10 Home operating system. The main difference between the Notebook 14 Standard and Horizon Editions is in terms of processors and unique options.
The standard entry model for the Core i5 processor and 256GB SSD starts at 41999 rupees (about 3914 RMB), while the 512GB n-Show / Nvita GeForce MX250 stand-alone version is priced at 44999 / 47999 rupees (4193 / 4473 RMB).
The above pricing will remain until July 16, meaning that another price adjustment may be followed. In addition, users using an HDFC Bank debit/credit card receive a limited-time offer of 2000 rupees (186 RMB), which brings the entry price down to Rs 39,999 (3727 RMB).
As for Horizon Edition, consumers can choose between Core i5/i7, starting at 54999 / 59999 rupees (5125 / 5591 RMB). The starting price is also pulled down to Rs 52,999 (4939 RMB) when the time limit is taken into account for the 2000 rupees.
It is reported that Mi Notebook 14 series of notebook new products will be on June 17 in Xiaomi India official website, Xiaomi Home, Amazon and other channels to take the lead in the sale.
On the screen, the regular version is 1080p to 60Hz, while Horizon Edition Ultimate comes with an Extra narrow border screen from Horizon Edge. The frame is only 3mm and the screen accounts for up to 91%, but the weight of the machine is still controlled at a lightweight 1.35kg.
On the software side, both models pre-install edified windows 10 Home, plus a 30-day free Office 360 trial package that supports Mi Blaze unlocking and Mi Quickshare Fast Pass.
For graphics, the Horizon Edition flagship also offers the GeForce MX350. Built-in 46Wh battery for up to 10 hours in a single flight and a 65W power adapter included in the package.
Other features of the Mi Notebook 14 include 4W speakers, 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack, and DTS sound support. The C-side has a large trackpad and a nicely sheared keyboard.
On the interface side, the machine offers HDMI, two USB 3.1s, USB 2.0s and Type-C (supporting charging and data transfer), and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity.
