Samsung is developing a new version of the Galaxy S20 to replace the Galaxy S10 Lite, SamMobile reported. Late last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite, which uses qualcomm’s SnapDragon 855 flagship platform, at a lower price than the Galaxy S10 series, allowing more consumers to experience the flagship product at a lower price.
Now Samsung is developing a successor to the Galaxy S10 Lite, Sam Mobile has been given exclusive information that the Galaxy S10 Lite’s successor is the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, with models including the SM-G780 and SM-G781 (Galaxy S10 Lite model SM-G770).
The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will provide at least 128GB of storage, the report said, with a pre-built OneUI 2.5 based on Android 10 and expected to be released alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series.
What’s more, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is expected to carry Qualcomm’s SnapSnapdragon 865 flagship platform, which could cost around $800 (about 5,600 yuan). The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition has an advantage over the Galaxy S20,999 (about 7,100 yuan) price tag.
