Smartly distributed game videos:
About Smart Distribution: This technology allows you to buy for each game once, regardless of whether you’re playing on Xbox One or X, you can play the right version on the right platform. We are committed to using smart delivery in exclusive games in all Xbox Game Studios to ensure that you can experience the right version on any Xbox console with just one game to buy. The technology is available to all developers and publishers who can choose to use it for games on xbox One and then in the Xbox X series. Simply put, players can play on Xbox One or xbox Series X, a new console, with just one game to play, and the system will automatically make a decision.
As new consoles are not yet available, it’s not clear what the smart distribution technology actually looks like, but it’s somewhat certain that it’s bound to be one of Microsoft’s most powerful competitors in the next generation. The Xbox Series X console will be available by the end of 2020.
