According to Bloomberg, people familiar with the matter said Epic Games is on the verge of securing a $750 million financing round that will value the company at $17 billion when it is completed. It is reported that the new investor T. Rowe Price Group Inc. and Baillie Gifford will participate in this round of financing, including KKR and Existing investors, including Co., will also be involved, and details have not been made public. Epic Games is valued at $15 billion in 2018.
Other existing investors in Epic Games include Disney and UFC owner Endeavor Group Holdings, which sold 40 percent of its shares to Tencent in 2012.
