Google launches Stadia Premiere Edition Entry Suite for $99.99

To experience Google’s cloud gaming service, Stadia, you don’t need Google’s proprietary gamepad or TV stick, as long as you can play it on your Android phone. But if you want a better gaming experience with wireless gamepads on your 4K TV, now is a good time to shop for the official Stadia handle.

Today, Google offers a new Stadia Premiere Edition starter kit for just $99. The kit includes the Chromecast Ultra HDMI TV stick and the Stadia gamepad, which you can easily lean on the couch for games.

The two hardware products were previously bundled for $129 and came with a three-month Stadia Pro service. The service provides monthly streaming, surround sound, and free game access to nearly 4K. The new bundle no longer includes a three-month subscription, but new users can offer a free one-month Pro trial.
